Water for the West
The Water for the West Foundation is calling on the world's greatest resource - people - to help protect and conserve the world's second greatest resource - water.
WFTW promotes intelligent education of the public to empower the 17 western states in addressing the enormous water issues particular to that part of the country.
Since 2005, WFTW has offered grant money for projects that have created educational tools such as DVDs, web sites, interactive presentations and printed materials, all with the goal of teaching about the wide and increasing range of demands for the limited supply of water people must maintain in order to survive.
These tools have increased awareness, involvement and positive legislation for water preservation.
Visit the Water for the West web site and learn more about who they are, what they do, and see the projects they support.
