Summary: The Board of Directors of the Colorado River Energy Distributors Association (CREDA) seeks a visionary leader with a demonstrated commitment to protecting the federal hydropower system, and who possesses strong interpersonal skills to become the next Executive Director. The CREDA Board has retained NRECA Executive Search to facilitate the search process. The Executive Director of CREDA provides leadership, advice, and assistance to the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee, and various working committees concerning legislative developments, industry changes, strategic planning, business objectives, and policy needs that support CREDA’s mission now and in the future. The Executive Director is CREDA’s primary spokesperson and represents CREDA in meetings and events with WAPA and the USBR, and with federal legislators.

Summary: Under general direction of the Director of Lands & Conservation, this position is responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of on-farm irrigation efficiency, water conservation, and water leasing programs within the Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District (MRGCD). The position works directly with irrigators, landowners, contractors, and state and federal partners to improve agricultural water use efficiency, support water leasing and conservation initiatives, and advance District objectives related to sustainable agriculture, operational efficiency, and environmental water commitments, including requirements under the 2016 Biological Opinion.

Title: Assistant Water Quality Superintendent

Summary: The city is looking for a new Assistant Water Quality Superintendent to manage the preventative, proactive and corrective maintenance activities, equipment replacement programs and capital improvement projects at the drinking water treatment plants, distribution pump stations, water booster station, lakes and canals.  Under the Water Quality Superintendent, this position will supervise a team of 75 employees.  A take-home city vehicle will be provided due to the daily travel to all the facilities under the purview of this position.

SRP (Salt River Project)

Title: Utilities Project Engineer 1, 2, Senior

Summary:  Provides project management and engineering support for planning, design, engineering, procurement, construction, and testing and commissioning activities on high-value, high-visibility, multi-year and/or schedule-constrained electric utility substation and transmission line projects typically ranging from 12 kV to 500 kV. Performs project studies and initial engineering designs for new substation and associated transmission line facilities. Ensures project deliverables adhere to SRP's design, cost, schedule and quality criteria, and safety values. Southwestern Water Conservation District

Title: General Manager

Salary Range: $130-160,000+

Location: Durango, Colorado

Summary:  The General Manager serves as the chief executive and management official of the organization reporting directly to the District’s Board of Directors.  The General Manager is responsible for all business operations (administrative, financial, technical and external affairs) and manages a small team of staff and contractors.  The General Manager must be able to lead the team, delegate, and play to the strengths of others.  The General Manager must possess strong oral and written communication skills and be capable of clearly communicating difficult issues with candor.  The General Manager works collaboratively to bring together groups of diverse interests in complicated and sometimes contentious matters.  The General Manager is expected to offer creative solutions to the Board that take into consideration the varying water-related priorities and perspectives of the District’s diverse constituency.  The General Manager represents the District’s broad range of constituents and priorities at conferences, speaking engagements and on local, statewide, and national matters, as directed by the Board.  The General Manager must be able to work and negotiate with other stakeholders throughout Colorado and other Colorado River basin states in a professional manner, seeking win-win solutions whenever possible.
